NOTE: I originally entered this file anonymously in 2007 to ROCK OUT with DDRExtreme.co.uk (now DDREvolved.com). It won!. Below is the original readme that was included at that time, included for posterity because it rules.

BACKGROUNDOSITY
===============

I, the creator of this file, am Sir A. E. Moose. My friends call me Anon, but you are not my friend yet! That's Sir Moose to you.

I wasn't originally planning on entering this song but one day when I was just chillin' at my computer I suddenly heard this deafening power chord that must have registered at least 11 on the Rockter scale and suddenly my bedroom wall imploded inwards from the sheer force of one man's long, flung-out hair.

That man was Andrew W.K. and he was here on a mission. To get a stepfile going, because when it's time to stepfile we will always DDR.

We talked (well, he screamed at me), and somewhere between deafness and unconsciousness I came to realise something. That "Rock Out" needs more than just the usual entries. It needs long hair and headbanging. It needs to PARTY HARD.

It is my duty - no, calling - to bring that party to Rock Out.

STEPTACITY
==========

The Beginner chart is rated 1 foot and contains Beginner steps. What more would you need to know? Are you one of those people who just filibusters regular conversations by asking endless numbers of pointless questions which they don't even care about the answers to? If so, I hate you.

The Light chart is rated 3 feet and has a lot of stomps on the same arrow. This is not because I put the beginner steps here by accident, but rather because stomping on the same arrow repeatedly is fun. Oh, except more than thrice. Well, crap.

The Standard chart is rated 5 feet. You might complain it's too easy, but I'll have you know that I tried quite hard to be creative here instead of falling into the easy trap of just making it a toned down version of Heavy by breaking up the streams into smaller, arbitrarily placed chunks! I just wanted a chart I could have fun stomping along to, because if there's any song you want to stomp to, it's this one. Well, not counting Stomp To My Beat.

The Heavy chart is rated 8 feet and will probably contain the steps you expect to see. If it's an obvious rhythm, these steps probably follow it! Yawn. Well, do I really need to go into much detail when this is the one chart that everyone's actually going to play, hmm? You should crossover on the jumps at the end, makes it easier.

GRAPHITUDE
==========

I made them. They're meant to look like DDR. THAT'S HOW WE ROLL!

Yes the background is 320x240 because it looks more like DDR that way. It's allowed in the rules as long as it doesn't look bad and as far as I can see it looks fine so quit yer bellyachin'. I think in the end I did a good job making them look like DDR graphics but unfortunately they have nothing much to do with the song. 0/50 :(

ACKNOWLOGY
==========

ENDNESS

It's the end of the readme, silly! Why are you still reading? :)
